I’m not a doctor, physical therapist, or personal trainer.
I’ve learned some valuable habits from those people.
But some of them have also steered me in the wrong direction.

Computer Posture Guinea Pig
Who I am…I write about my personal experience.
It combines:
→ My athletic background
→ My IT / Ergonomics background
→ How I sat at a computer with poor posture for 10 years
→ How I fixed my computer posture in 2011
→ How I share what I’ve learned with others
→ Finally, I enjoy writing (I wasn’t good at taking tests)
You won’t find me citing much peer-reviewed studies or science-backed research.
Those are also valuable to me (when they aren’t biased or paid-off).
But this is all about my personal experience. I am the guinea pig.
We should listen to doctors and PT’s, but they learned through fire hoses full of textbooks.
So we also need to listen to people who came “out of the trenches.”
People who fought through difficult situations first-hand. Then found the solutions for their problems on their own.
→ Like how I stretch my upper back with a yoga stick.
→ Or how I decrease my internal shoulder rotation by doing a yoga cactus pose (this works best for me while laying on the floor).
→ Or how a steel mace is my favorite exercise equipment to open my front lines and counter-balance tension caused by slouching forward.
We are our own primary caretaker.
We need to do our own research.
Then make good decisions.
And be the best advocate possible for our own healthcare.
