Never trying to fix any of this.
Learning good computer ergonomics is the cost of entry to a pain-free sedentary lifestyle.
Paying it was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done for myself.
Which of these are you struggling with the most?
This is a tough question for me to answer. Definitely high on the list would be headaches from poor computer posture and mouth breathing. I used to get a headache once a week. It was debilitating and miserable.
It’s a very righteous feeling to say that I haven’t had a headache in years. There are many variables involved that got me here. And I’ve worked very hard on all of them.
But I’d say these played the biggest part:
→ correcting my computer posture
→ eating cleaner meals
→ drinking cleaner water with minerals
→ sleeping better
→ balancing muscle recovery with strength training
Also, using mouth tape while I sleep was an important factor to eliminate my headaches. Because now I breathe more through my nose and less through my mouth. This means I don’t overuse my jaw muscles to be a mouth breather all night. I definitely think those tight jaw muscles contributed to my tension headaches.
